Evangelicalism vs. (neo-) Fundamentalism

Roger Olson has recently posted some helpful thoughts on the difference between  evangelicalism and neo-fundamentalism. His comments are not primarily evaluative (though he does support evangelicalism over fundamentalism), but historical. In other words, he distinguishes based on the actual history of the emergence of these two distinct movements in 20th-century America.
